Disclaimer

1 General Disclaimer

The information, tools and calculators on freeconverto.com ("FreeConverto", "we", "us") are provided for general informational and convenience purposes only. We work hard to keep the tools useful and reliable, but we make no promise that they are complete, accurate, up to date or suitable for your particular purpose.

You use the website and its tools at your own risk. This Disclaimer should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2 Accuracy of Tool Results

Our image, PDF and document tools aim to give high-quality results, but the output depends on the file you provide and on your device and browser. In particular:

• Compression and conversion can reduce quality, change colours or remove features, especially when converting between formats or choosing lower quality settings.
• Word to PDF and PDF to Word conversions may not preserve every font, layout, table, image or formatting detail.
• OCR text recognition can contain mistakes, particularly with low-quality scans, handwriting or unusual fonts.
• Image upscaling and background removal may produce visible flaws or inaccurate edges and details.

3 AI-Generated Content

The AI Text Summarizer, AI PDF Summarizer and Chat with PDF use artificial intelligence to produce summaries and answers. AI can make mistakes, leave out important points, misread documents or state things that are not true. Output is not reviewed by a person.

• Do not treat AI output as legal, medical, financial, academic or other professional advice
• Always compare important summaries and answers with the original document
• Do not submit sensitive information such as passwords or financial account numbers

4 Health & Utility Calculators

Our Sleep Calculator, BMI Calculator, Age Calculator and Grammar Checker are provided for general information and convenience only.

• BMI and body fat results are estimates. They do not account for muscle mass, age, ethnicity, health conditions or many other factors, and are not a medical diagnosis.
• Sleep suggestions are based on typical sleep cycles and will not suit everyone.
• Grammar suggestions may be wrong or may not fit your context. Review them before using them.

5 PDF Protection & File Security

Tools such as Protect PDF, Unlock PDF, Add Watermark, Watermark PDF and the Metadata Viewer are provided as conveniences. They are not a guarantee of security or copyright protection.

• A password-protected PDF can still be vulnerable if the password is weak or shared. Use strong passwords and keep them safe — we cannot recover a lost password.
• Watermarks can be removed or edited by others and do not by themselves protect your work.
• Removing metadata may not remove every piece of identifying information in a file. Check the result before sharing sensitive files.

For highly confidential or regulated documents, please use specialised security software suited to your needs.

6 Your Rights to the Files You Use

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use, copy, modify and convert any file you process on FreeConverto. Please only use the Unlock PDF tool on documents you own or have permission to open. We are not responsible for how you use files or the results you create.

Our website may link to other websites that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices or availability, and a link does not mean we endorse the site.
